So let me introduce you to the new Campbell family member.
Her name Skylar. Connor picked her name because in her description it said she was white and sky blue (even though she's actually white and gray) Connor thought of Skylar because of it. He instantly gravitated to her. Alex loves her too. They are both so happy.
This picture was taken shortly after we arrived home with her on Sunday.

She is an Italian Greyhound which is like a miniature Greyhound.

She is very playful with Alex. I think she senses his playfulness. She is
like the little sister they never had and now I'm not the only girl in the house!

She is very sweet and as much as Mark and I have really never been dog people we have already fallen in love with her after only 2 days. She loves to follow us around and we keep tripping over her :0 If I sit down, which of course I rarely do because of all the housecleaning..etc. I'm doing.. not, she loves to lay on my feet (especially at the computer). She just curls up and goes to sleep. Oh no, I already sound like one of those sappy pet owners!!!
